Which classes should you put in your Warzone loadout drop?

Published: 6 November 2026 ยท Updated: 6 November 2026

The loadout drop is the moment your match really starts. Until then you are fighting with whatever you find on the floor; after it, you have your own guns, your own attachments and your own perks. Getting the most from it comes down to two things: having the right classes saved before you drop in, and knowing which one to pick when the crate lands. This guide gives you five ready made classes for your loadout slots, all built from the loadouts on LoadoutLab, with every attachment and the partner weapon for each one.

The short answer: save Voyak KT-3 + VMP as your first class. It pairs the number one long range rifle with the number one close range SMG on the public tracker, so it is never the wrong choice.

Five loadout drop classes at a glance

  1. Voyak KT-3 + VMP: the all round class.
  2. MK35 ISR + MPC-25: the backup all rounder.
  3. DS20 Mirage + REV-46: the lighter rifle class.
  4. Strider 300 + VMP: the sniper class.
  5. Sokol 545 + MPC-25: the hold the line class.

Why your saved classes matter

You cannot build a class mid match, so the loadout drop only ever gives you what you set up beforehand. Most players save one class and then wonder why it feels wrong when the circle forces a long range fight or a building push. Saving a few different classes means you can react to the circle, your squad and the fight you are about to take, rather than hoping one set up covers everything.

A sensible spread is one all round class, one backup in case you have not unlocked everything on the first, one sniper class and one class that suits how your squad likes to hold ground. The five below cover all of that.

1) Voyak KT-3 + VMP: the all round class

This is the class to build first. The Voyak KT-3 is ranked number one for long range on the public tracker, and the VMP is number one for close range, so between them you cover almost every fight Warzone throws at you. The drum magazine on the rifle means you can keep shooting through a full squad push before you need to reload.

2) MK35 ISR + MPC-25: the backup all rounder

If you are still levelling the Voyak, or you simply shoot the MK35 ISR better, this is the closest alternative. It is second for long range and runs the same suppressor and drum approach, while the MPC-25 is second for close range and carries a drum of its own for clearing buildings.

3) DS20 Mirage + REV-46: the lighter rifle class

The DS20 Mirage is third for long range and uses an extended magazine rather than a drum, which suits players who want a rifle that feels a little lighter. The REV-46 is third for close range and one of only two top four SMG builds that keeps an optic, handy if you like a cleaner sight picture up close.

4) Strider 300 + VMP: the sniper class

For players who take long range picks, the Strider 300 is number one on the sniper list. Pair it with the VMP so you are not stuck at range when a team pushes your building. This is the class to call in when the circle closes on open ground.

5) Sokol 545 + MPC-25: the hold the line class

The Sokol 545 is the highest ranked LMG this season, at tenth for long range, so it suits squads that like to hold a roof or a ridge and pin teams down. The MPC-25 covers you once the fight moves inside.

Loadout drop habits that win more games

Before Season 1 arrives

LoadoutLab's data notes that the Season 1 update, which brings Modern Warfare 4 into Warzone, was reported for 6 November 2026, and that guns from earlier games are reported to move to a fixed five attachment version without Gunsmith at that point. If that happens, treat these classes as a starting point and check the tier list, which will change as the new season settles. For more options, read our guide to the Warzone meta loadouts before Season 1 or the A tier loadouts beyond the meta.
