Which Warzone loadouts should you use before Season 1?
Season 06: The Haunting is in its final days. Modern Warfare 4 is reported to join Warzone with its Season 1 update on 6 November 2026, and from then guns from earlier games lose Gunsmith and use a fixed five attachment version. That makes this week the last chance to get full value from the builds you have levelled. If you want to finish the season strong, these are the eight loadouts that sit in the Meta tier on LoadoutLab.
The short answer: run the Voyak KT-3 for long range and the VMP for close range. Both are number one in their role on the tracker, and LoadoutLab pairs them together.
The Meta tier at a glance
- Voyak KT-3 - assault rifle, first for long range.
- MK35 ISR - assault rifle, second for long range.
- DS20 Mirage - assault rifle, third for long range.
- VMP - SMG, first for close range.
- MPC-25 - SMG, second for close range.
- REV-46 - SMG, third for close range.
- Ryden 45K - SMG, fourth for close range.
- Strider 300 - sniper rifle, first on the sniper list.
Voyak KT-3
The Voyak KT-3 is the gun to beat. Its build pairs a FANG HoverPoint ELO optic and Monolithic Suppressor with a drum magazine, so you can stay on target through a full squad fight without a reload.
- Optic: FANG HoverPoint ELO
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: 17.6" LTI Grav-4 Barrel
- Magazine: SK-Garrison Drum
- Stock: V-Last Control Pad
Pair it with the VMP for the strongest long and close combination in the game right now.
MK35 ISR
The MK35 ISR takes the same approach as the Voyak: suppressor, long barrel and a drum. If the Voyak does not suit your aim, this is the closest alternative.
- Optic: FANG HoverPoint ELO
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: 16.5" Greaves Bellum Barrel
- Magazine: Bowen Siren Drum
- Stock: Greaves Cassin Stock
LoadoutLab pairs it with the MPC-25, whose drum makes it a strong building clearer.
DS20 Mirage
The DS20 Mirage is third on the long range list and the only one of the three meta rifles that runs an extended magazine instead of a drum. Expect to reload more often, so pick your fights.
- Optic: FANG HoverPoint ELO
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: 17.1" Abdicator Barrel
- Magazine: Griffon Reserve Extended II
- Stock: Weighted Stock
Pair it with the REV-46, which keeps an optic for players who like a sight on their SMG.
VMP
The VMP arrived in the Season 06 battle pass and went straight to number one for close range. Its build drops the optic and focuses on handling.
- Muzzle: LTI Stentorian Brake
- Barrel: 14.6" Nocturnal-VI Barrel
- Underbarrel: Sapper Guard Handstop
- Magazine: Dapple Capacity Mag
- Stock: Greaves Valour Pad
Pair it with the Voyak KT-3, or with the Strider 300 if you prefer to snipe.
MPC-25
The MPC-25 is second for close range and runs a drum, which makes it a forgiving choice when you are pushing into buildings against more than one player.
- Muzzle: LTI Stentorian Brake
- Barrel: 14.5" VAS Ashe Barrel
- Underbarrel: FlowGuard Foregrip
- Magazine: MPC Overload Drum
- Stock: Viper Wire Stock
Pair it with the MK35 ISR as LoadoutLab suggests.
The rest of the Meta tier
The REV-46 is third for close range and keeps a Lethal Tools ELO optic. The Ryden 45K is fourth and the last of the four meta SMGs, also with an optic. Both are good choices if you prefer a sight over iron sights, and their full builds are on their loadout pages.
Strider 300
The Strider 300 is the number one sniper on the tracker. The .300 WM Overpressured fire mod is the key part of the build.
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: Bowen Grooved Barrel
- Underbarrel: Cornerstone-642 Guard
- Rear grip: Hatch Quick Grip
- Fire mod: .300 WM Overpressured
Always pair a sniper with a meta SMG such as the VMP, so you are not stuck at range when a team pushes your position.
How to make the most of the last week
- Finish your camos and levels now. Once Gunsmith changes for older guns, full builds like these may not be available.
- Pick one pair and stick with it. The Voyak KT-3 and VMP pairing covers every range and keeps your muscle memory consistent.
- Do not chase a new gun this week. With the update days away, time spent levelling a new weapon may not carry over in the same form.
Lower ping, steadier lobbies
Gunfights with meta guns are decided in fractions of a second, so connection quality matters. Some players use a gaming VPN such as NordVPN or Surfshark to choose the server region they connect through, which can change ping and the SBMM lobbies they land in. Results depend on your line and location. Our best VPN for Warzone guide explains how it works and what to expect.
Our take
If you copy one class this week, copy the Voyak KT-3 with the VMP. For a second class, the MK35 ISR with the MPC-25 is the safest backup. For more detail on the rifles, see our assault rifle meta, and for close range our SMG meta.
